6 rules of truly productive people
Did you notice that some people seemed to be doing a huge amount of work, but still they didn’t look tired? Here are some tips for more productive work.
Being a successful businessman, keeping a column in a magazine, writing a book, being a consultant in several companies, running around in the morning, sleeping at least seven hours a day, finding time for family and relaxing with friends is real. Such a rhythm of life seems unthinkable. But even at 24 o’clock you can hold all the necessary things, you just follow a few tips.
1. Set priorities
Be clear on what you really want to do. After all, properly distributed efforts will help you quickly reach your goal. Focus on time spent combining business with pleasure. If you like large families, you have the right to have one. Only you need to immediately recognize that children need attention, and for your own satisfaction you will need to spend a lot of time with them. You also have the right to choose for yourself the life of a consultant in several small firms, or the life of a general director in a large company. It is important that the choice is based on the lifestyle you would like.
2. Tune in to efficiency
Not everything can work out well. However, what you do perfectly well brings you more pleasure and takes less time. Do not charge yourself with an unbearable burden. Organize your life in such a way as to satisfy your desires. Be able to say no to opportunities that go beyond your desires and assigned course. Create your life yourself, and do not live “by default”.
3. Combine your actions
Many are puzzled over how to do everything: spend time with your family, meet friends, cope with work and so on. Stop trying to distribute all this time. Find a way to enjoy these moments by combining them. Find people who share your interests among your colleagues. If all your activities are not so combined that it makes you feel irritable and tired, then change is inevitable. Do not be afraid to change the usual not ordered way of life.
4. Handle everything that spends your time.
The media, friends, family, employees, all this can take up valuable time from you if you yourself allow this to happen. Count your time on the necessary activities. Make the right choice and limit yourself from what does not charge you with energy. For example, empty surfing on Internet resources may turn into just a black hole for your time and productivity. Even social networks can be used correctly and economically, to support your endeavors, but, please, put off the “zombie farm”.
5. Be a motivated student
At first glance, training takes you a lot of time, but it is not. Always there are new tools and methods that will help you save time on everyday tasks. And everything new should learn. Always look for new ways to save another hour.
6. Do not get excited
Do not bite your elbows, if not everything turns out. It’s clear that some things can not be left without attention, in pursuit of a dream. The world will not converge with a wedge, if you postpone some ideas for the first time. But do not cease to strive for a happy and productive activity. Here’s how useful to make lists of priority cases. After all, even a small achievement, the completion of the case from the list, is already a victory on the road to greater, on the road to success.
